Deuteronomy 6:7
God created the family and the order of father, mother, and children. Our Lord desires unity and harmony within the family and his word gives instruction of his desires for a loving home.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4
I have heard this quote years ago: “Making the decision to have a child – it is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.”
It is so true … when our children hurt, we hurt; when they are joyful, we are joyful.
We are their best cheerleaders and equipped to pray for them with our whole-heart!
